I have decided to take on a project for 2008 that involves taking and publishing a Portrait A Week for the year 2008. Whilst I cannot publish some clients portraits, I will replace them with other portraits. I hope you enjoy viewing the images I will be showing you.

In Your Eyes
The first portrait for 2008. A quick one of my youngest son Cai....taken about 30 minutes ago. A bit of grunge over the top and voila.

Can I be different? I dont know whether the grunge look 'really' goes with a kid's portrait. I mean esp his age. No doubt its wicked treatment but somehow I think the grunge went just a weeee bit too far, no?
Very nice, Judi. I love the expression on the boy's face. It looks like a ruined photo, like something found after a disaster, which gives it an element of sadness.

the tilt of head and the focus on the eyes really adds an element of engagement of subject to photographer - well done!
